Welcome to Westway, a music and film platform for artists who have performed on the West End and Broadway. Launched in October 2021, we have enjoyed a very exciting release schedule so far on CD, DVD and vinyl. We are delighted to have recently added Westway Talent to our offering, where we represent not only our Westway recording artists, but a host of other amazing musical theatre talent as their live agents. Westway has truly become the home for the music of theatre!

Jason Manford hails from Salford, Lancashire. He is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor, radio and television presenter. He began his career in 1999, while working at the Buzz Comedy Club in Chorlton, Manchester. Jason was collecting glasses when a performer didn’t arrive for an evening set. Jason, who was 17, stepped in to fill the gap, an event which marked the beginning of his comedy career.

Kerry Ellis

Kerry Ellis has fast become recognised as the leading lady of West End musicals from her starring roles in London and on Broadway. She has also achieved chart topping success as a recording artist signed to Universal Decca with her debut album Anthems.

Lee Mead

Lee Mead shot to prominence after winning the BBC series ‘Any Dream Will Do’ to take the role of Joseph in the West End in 2007. In June 2007 he released ‘Any Dream Will Do’ and ‘Close Every Door’. The songs entered the UK Singles Download Charts and peaked at No 2. Lee released his first album ‘Lee Mead’ in 2007 and his second album ‘Nothing Else Matters’ in 2009.

Following sold-out runs at the Turbine Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe and the Garrick Theatre, Rob Madge brought their triumphant celebration of the ups and downs of raising a queer child back to the West End in 2023 for another limited season.

Rachel John is one of the West End’s most versatile performers and has been appearing in successful productions in the West End for the last 17 years. She made her West End debut in Disney’s The Lion King in 2005 and has gone on to play major roles in We Will Rock You, Sister Act, Memphis, The Bodyguard and The Girl from The North Country.
